Background and aims:
The European Network of Drug Consumption Rooms (DCR) brings together a variety of services from different countries. In this workshop we aim to exchange experiences among experts from different European countries and backgrounds to discuss models of DCRs and good practices related to services.
Description of workshop:
Objectives of a workshop are to:
•obtain descriptions of first-hand experiences for models of DCRs;
•explore good practices among European DRCs;
•share experiences from the different European DCRs to enhance knowledge exchange.
Methods and format:
Several models of DCR will be presented and discussed. At the end of the workshop participants will be able to identify the main models of DCR and describe related best practices. The workshop will consist of a 10-minute round of introductions and icebreaker, four 10-minute presentations, followed by 30 minutes of an interactive group activity, and 10 minutes of Q&A.
