Co-designing the INHSU Prisons Hepatitis C Advocacy Toolkit using the Advocacy Strategy Framework

Abstract

The Prisons Special Interest Group collaborated with stakeholders to co-design the Prisons Hepatitis C Advocacy Toolkit, addressing barriers to hepatitis C testing and treatment in prisons worldwide. The toolkit provides 20 evidence-based resources, including policy briefs, infographics, and case studies, to enhance advocacy efforts globally and support WHO’s 2030 elimination goals. A paper on the framework used to develop the toolkit has now been published in the International Journal of Drug Policy.
