Two Connecting with Care films received awards at the Inter·GLAM video contest held at Lisbon Addictions Conference (LxAddictions22) last year. The films are part of an ongoing visual storytelling project, highlighting models of innovative hepatitis C care from around the world.
The awards welcomed entries into two categories:
- Category 1: creatively showcasing an innovative scientific, technical, or civil society activity
- Category 2: to communicate and bring visibility to stories of impactful and insightful lived experience
Connecting with Care Toronto won a third prize and Connecting with Care South Africa received a special ‘Impact Award‘. Both films were created by visual storyteller Connor Ashleigh and the prize money ($300 respectively) will be shared with the organisations profiled in the films.
